Here is a little excerpt from the August 2015 issue of Cherished Magazine:
I heard a statement recently that went something like this:
Fear is fueled by a lack of knowledge of how much you are loved and cherished by God.
The best way defuse fear is the let that statement sink in for a little while You are loved and cherished by God.
Got it? Good. Now ask yourself this question: If I knew and really believed with all my heart that I am cherished by God what would I be afraid and fearful of?
I once wrote a letter to my younger self for an article in a book. The assignment was to write about how now that I was “older” what would I like to tell my “younger” self.
Great questions right? What would you tell your younger self now that you are older?
The essence of what I told myself in the letter to my younger self was to not be so shy, fearful and afraid!
You can read the rest of the article in August’s issue but I want to challenge you to get out your journal (or really any paper will do) and answer that question:
What would you tell your younger self now that you are older?
You just might discover a little something about yourself. Please share in the comments below just what would you say to your younger self?
We love to share at these amazing blogs.

I would tell myself that not everything is as big a deal as it seems at the moment. Stop, breathe, and pray before making decisions. Visiting from Faith Filled Friday. God bless!
