As Thanksgiving approaches and I am making plans for dinner at my house this year, I can’t help but think of the article in the November 2015 issue of Cherished Magazine called No More Perfect Moms!
I’m running through the menu saying is that enough? Should I do something different? Is the family’s traditional menu too blah…but that is what we look forward to, right? Who is coming? Do I need to bring in another table? Should I get the pretty dishes out of storage or can I use my everyday dishes?
Well…I won’t bore you will all the details…but you get it the idea. The minute I begin questioning one thing — five more things pop into my head!
I really want to encourage you to get Cherished Magazine and read No More Perfect Moms by Jill Savage.
The article will encourage you to remember what is really important…and it’s not being perfect.
I love linking up to these amazing blogs.
PS – Have you seen Cherished Magazine? If not, check out a sneak peek here.
I love Jill and her books! We highlighted them in my Imperfect Mom Confessional series. 🙂
Thanks for linking up with Grace & Truth this week! 🙂
God bless,

Hi Sheryl,
I am following you from Playdates. We are friends on Twitter. And I totally agree that our “perfectionism” can be our downfall. I am learning slowly to do my best but let the rest go. It certainly makes for a more relaxed hostess.
I would love you to link to Word of God Speak.
Blessings,
Janis
