Cherished Magazine is on a mission to spark hope into the lives of others.
Sometimes it just takes just a small little thing to help someone to move forward, to see they are not defined by their circumstances or to see just how amazing they are.
So Cherished Magazine is on a mission to leave encouraging cards wherever they go.
How did we come up with the idea of leaving little cards wherever we go?
Well it was based actually on an experience that Sheryl had.
She was away on a trip and quite frankly feeling very trapped and pulled down by her current circumstances. She went to the ladies room to collect her thoughts and left behind was a pretty note that read “You are a beautiful soul”. She didn’t feel like a beautiful anything at that moment and this simple little card reminded her of who she was in Christ. She was a beautiful soul. She mattered. She was good enough and she didn’t have to listen to the negative chatter going on in her brain.
That’s a lot from one simple little card left behind by a complete stranger.
Out of this birthed Sheryl randomly leaving cards with words of encouragement.
