Natalie Collins really makes you think on many levels in the June 2015 issue of Cherished Magazine in her article called How to Be Uniquely You.
I don’t want to give some of the surprises in her article away but I do want to share with you a quote from the article that truly resonates with me and I hope it resonates with you.
Here is what Natalie says in her article:
What I do know is that you were born for a reason with a light inside of you. A light that you are meant to shine for others to see.
Now don’t breeze across that and move on. Really let that sink in...
you were born for a reason with a light inside of you. A light that you are meant to shine for other to see.
As you go about your day today just take a moment to love the uniqueness in you and shine your light just a bit more brighter.

My youngest daughter has the personality that embraces everything that is unique and shining a light on it. She is confidant that she is worthwhile because she has a clear understanding that she is loved by God and it makes it so much easier to accept yourself when you know that you are accepted by God.
We are absolutely born for a reason and this light , that comes from an unending source of goodness, shines in ways we don’t always see and truly can’t ever measure. That light makes one bold! 😉
Blessings,
Dawn
Dawn – Amen! Thank you for such a beautiful comment and it is so much easier to accept yourself when you know you are accepted by God!
Absolutely! Thanks for posting over at Coffee for Your Heart. Feel free to visit me as well.
I’ll have to admit that some days are easier to embrace “me” than others but I know that God knew me even before I was born. He shaped me in my mothers womb before I was born so I’m exactly like He wants me to be. Thanks for sharing. Visiting from Woman to Woman.
Hey Rebecca – so true … some days are easier than others!
Thank you so much for sharing this important post with us at Good Morning Mondays. Blessings
I love this, but sometimes I wonder if I’m TOO uniquely me. Sometimes I long to just fit in and not be the square peg in the round hole. But then I give myself a shake and realize I’d be bored silly if I ever did do that, so I guess I get to just be myself and let that be enough.

Adrian your comment made me smile 🙂 I think there are many others who may feel the exact same way and then realize how that “fitting” wouldn’t really fit! Thanks for sharing.
